Rate: £ 6.50 to £ 7 (full-time (per hour)) + Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare, 25 days holiday, Free Parking
TEMP TO PERM POSITION
Responsibilities
1. To continually revise stock levels for repair and overhaul activities.
2. To place orders for components required for the repair, overhaul or spares activities as per the internal purchase order or customers purchase order.
3. To ensure all components for repairs & overhauls and spares are recorded as they arrive on site and subsequently down dated on despatch from site.
4. Ensure documentation and recording applications are completed correctly and kept updated.
5. To assist in office administration activities, including reception duties, telephone answering, filing, spares and accounts back up.
6. Follow Company Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and Personal policies and procedures.
7. To identify methods of Improvement within their area of responsibility
8. To identify local supply when permitted to do so.
9. To provide necessary reports as and when requested relating to their area of responsibility.
10. To carry out annual and or periodic stock checks and carries out reconciliation thereafter for audit purposes.
11. To ensure the areas of their responsibility are kept clean and tidy, (5S)
12. To liase and assist other departments if requested.
13. To carry out any reasonable request by immediate manager.
14. Car driver.
Essential Attributes
• Excellent computer skills, especially Excel, Word and Access and familiar with data collection analysis and presentation.
• Experience of controlling materials in a similar environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible attitude towards work responsibilities, adaptable and confident manner.
Desirable Attributes
• .FLT Licence Holder, reach truck and or counter balance
• Car driver
