Assistant Management Accountant
Location: : Leeds - West Yorkshire
Rate: £ 25 to £ 30.0 K (contract/temp (per year))
This organisation is a leading global distributor of chemical products and services.They are unique within the UK chemical market, manufacturing and distributing a wide range of products from 2 sites located within mainland Britain.They are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to cover maternity leave, this opportunity would suit someone who is immediately available of available at short notice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Production of reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in accordance with agreed timetables.
Audit of relevant depot accounting systems to ensure the integrity of depot output.
Deal with all depot accounting queries/problems.
Ad-hoc investigation work at depots.
Working as a team, providing assistance and help to colleagues where required.
Control and preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Specific Central Finance office functions, such as VAT, Intrastat, Vehicle Leasing, Foreign Currency, Capital Expenditure, etc.
