Senior Credit Controller

Rate: £ 20 to £ 25.0 K (contract/temp (per hour))

Leading Business services organisation based in central Leeds is currently looking for a senior and knowledgeable Credit Controller to take on a reporting and debt collection position. This is a stand alone role within a larger Finance team and is newly created due to recent expansion. This is a superb opportunity for someone with a strong background in commercial debt chasing who has good reporting and query resolution experience.

Duties include:
Managing large portfolio of client accounts.
Chasing £100,000s in commercial debt on a daily basis via telephone and letter.
Query resolution - dealing with disputes on charges and invoicing.
LIaising with clients and internal contacts to build relationships.
Allocating all payment receipts onto accounts.
Bank statements.
Updating banking sheets.
Reporting - aged debt analysis, payment history, cash collection, outstanding debt, litigation issues.
Month end procedures.
Working in a team.
